From exam syllabus to pattern, if one does not consider all the factors, making a plan becomes difficult, not to mention the time left for the preparation. So, we are here to help you and make things easier for you.
Steps to Prepare for AIAPGET 2020
Mentioned below are some preparation tips that will help you with the process.
Step 1 – Know Your Syllabus
The most basic thing to begin your AIAPGET preparation is to become well aware of the topics covered in the Exam Syllabus .Go through all the topics carefully and figure out which ones are the toughest to complete. But, make sure to skip no topic.
Step 2 – Know the Exam Pattern
The next thing you must get yourself aware of is AIAPGET Pattern so understanding the exam pattern helps you know factors like the duration of time available to complete the paper, total number of questions, marking scheme, different sections, etc. These factors help you in time management.
Step 3 – Learn to Manage Time
Once you are aware of the exam pattern, you can strategise time management for when you will be appearing in the exam. You must plan how much time each section or question needs and then distribute your time accordingly. Understanding the exam syllabus and the difficulty level of different topics will help you know how much time does each topic needs during the preparation. For instance, if you find a topic very difficult to prepare, you can allocate more time to its preparation than to a topic that is easier.
Step 4 – Make a Time Table
Now that you have learned about time management, exam syllabus and pattern, it is time to make a preparation plan or time table. One thing that you must be aware of while making a time table is that do not forget to give some time to recreational activities. Manage to balance between studying and doing things that put your mind at rest and refreshes it.
Step 5 – Revise
Revision is the mantra to successful preparation. You can’t keep studying new topics every day without revising them because there are high chances that you will forget some of the contents. So, it is always important to keep revising the topics that you are done with and do not forget to add it to your time table or preparation plan.
Step 6 – Practice Sample Papers/ Previous Years’ Question Papers/ Mock Tests
Once you know that you have followed all the above-mentioned steps, the next thing to do would be solving practice papers to test your preparation. These tests are helpful in so many ways. Through these tests, you realise your preparation level, you get to know which topics are still tough for you to answer, you find out if you are able to manage time during the test and sometimes, you figure out the repetition pattern of questions in papers from different years.
